Text:	When entering the forum via the link on the website's main page you will now be presented with three choices: read-only access, login for write access, and create a password for write access. The latter will ask you to e-mail a particular string -- namely your desired username and a hash which corresponds to the pass- word that you have chosen -- to a specific e-mail address. Once I have received your e-mail, I will enter your information into the access control mechanism, and send you a confirmation note. At that point you will be able to post to the forum.I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but at this time it has become necessary to restrict write access to the forum, to limit abuse by spammers and/or folks who are trying to improve their rating with search engines by placing unwanted, off-topic links. `-- CL`
