Subject: AMD OPN numbers?
Text: Hi,
is AMD's OPN (Ordering Part Number) somehow readable by
software? Or the parts of it that are not publicly documented
(CPUID, MSRs)?

Example:
AMD Athlon 64 Processor Ordering Part Number Example
ADA 3200 A E P 5 AP
Part Definition: AP=CPUID Model 4, P-state transition support
L2 Cache Size: 5=1 Megabyte
Case Temperature: P=70 °C
Operating Voltage: E= 1.50V
Package: A= 754 Pin Lidded OµPGA
Model Number: 3200+: 2000 MHz
Brand: AMD AthlonT 64 Desktop

Especially the case or die temperatures seem to prevent a simple
lookup "CPUID+cache+VID+clock -> OPN"; Mobile Athlon64 has several.

Thanks for any help,
Andreas
