| Well Ok, equivalent HLL code can be derived from machine code, a | tedious process no doubt, but still possible. Arguably it won't | be identical to the original source, but compiled code does have | a pretty much direct correlation to the source it was compiled from.If the code in question is old, then there is a chance that is was compiled without aggressive optimizations. Which would make it much easier to de-compile it. |
