I found a way of finding the CPU clock frequency and its generic.
I used the Windows DDK KeQueryPerformanceCounter api function for
the reference time. KeQueryPerformanceCounter gives the time in seconds
and using the RDTSC counter I was able to estimate the processor
operating frequency.
