Whose fault is that? When you say NT, you mean NT4, right? Since NT4 doesn't run on Itaniums, a P4 reporting family=7 should be ok. Of course any newer Windows which supports both the P4 and the Itanium would have to query the extended family field whenever it comes accross a family=7 (Intel) processor. |
