Hello, Christian!

I have two versions of the processor code-named Foster. The values
returned in the EAX register when executing CPUID instruction with
EAX = 00000001h are: 00000f04h and 00000f05h (pre-release samples).

Do you know why NetBurst family processors return family 0fh?
Does anyone out there know it? It's a rather funny little story.

Regards,

Johnny
